1:53 PMI'm just paraphrasing but I think he meant that it shows a lack of respect. You know, respect is an interesting concept to me. My roomie, sorry Gene, always tells me how I am not respecting him or how he doesn't feel respected or how he doesn't feel much respect for anyone (contextual info missing, oh well). But what does he mean by respect? Is it a state of admiration for someone or is it more an awareness of one's dignity? I think I am trying way too hard to come up with two mutually exclusive defs, even though there might not be any difference. It's called BS-ing. Do you feel disrespected by my BS by any chance?
So there was this Chinese guy that I met last Chinese new year @Will's. He really hated my guts or maybe my kidneys. Either way, there was undoubtedly some open animosity towards me. I mean this guy was talking trash in front of my face. #beach Maybe he felt disrespected by me. Maybe I pushed too hard. Pushed his Chinese buttons that is. I always wonder how many buttons one can push before another gets triggered.

I don't know if I ever felt disrespected by anyone. I'd say less so than your typical tropical savage. Although, I have to admit that I dislike partaking in the Tonight Show With Jim Zhang. Maybe feeling disrespected is the same as feeling offended. Acute sensitivitis? But I am sensitive too, though I don't get offended much. Sensitivity is also a cool concept to me b/c it is such a broad term and it is used by peeps to denote a panoply of things. No BS, no no BS. I guess a simple definition of sensitivity would be a tendency to react easily to verbal, emotional, environmental etc stimuli. In that sense, we are all sensitive to a degree, unless you've been potty trained not to react to anything, but that'd be sad af. Consider joining the i-robot movie if that was you.
I don't know if I have anything else to say concerning this topic. Let me read the lyrics of the featured song for a second, maybe that will inspire.
Right respect. I'm glad I am listening to the song right now. It keeps me in check and not off-topic.
Okay according to Aretha, respecting someone means to give it to them. And gotta give it to them hard. Or smooth. Whatever they want. I see what she did there. Wink Aretha.
A moment of hommage please.
See I told you respect is very unstable mentally.
Now let's talk about proper and improper respect.
NOT.
