Load the question and fire.

"How are you feeling these days?"

How many of us get asked this question on a daily basis? And do we even care about our feelings enough to ask ourselves the question? 

Perhaps most of us stroll along life thinking that we are on top of everything.

"I am okay", we tell ourselves. "I am doing juust fine."

But what most of us don't realize is that our emotional state fluctuates (some more than others), so it is important to take a second out of our busy day to think about and acknowledge all that is deep down there.

Here we go. Brace & embrace.

  • Are you feeling stressed these days? If so, why?
  • And are you feeling tired? When was the last time you took some time off just for yourself? 
  • Anything happened that made you sad? Do you even know what sad feels like? Any instances where you felt misunderstood?
  • What about accomplishments? How are you proud of yourself these days?
  • Now tell me something significant that happened to you this week.
  • And what projects are you undertaking? Are you finding purpose in them or are you doing them out of obligation? What are your dreams and aspirations?
  • How is your social life? Do you feel encouraged and inspired by the people you are bumping into? And have you sat down recently with someone special to just catch up and loosen up in their news & stories?
  • And how did you make a difference to or impact the little world around you as of lately?
  • Do you feel loved? And how are you loving others?
There are way more questions I can ask you, but you get the point. Like they say, one question a day keeps the shrink away.

Now go grab someone next to you and start sharing, for it is good to the soul.
