Lemon and Melons

Some relationships are tough nuts to crack.

And I find myself continuously grieving. Continuously being affected. To the point where I ain't giving a pear anymore.

I guess part of the maturity process is that you come to accept the fact that there will always be conflicts within any meaningful relationship. But you learn not to be so emotionally involved. You just do you and you let others do them. And sometimes, when you have done everything you could, but the apples still taste sour, it is probably time to pick up socks and walk away. Your fantasy of fixing someone will never come into fruition, trust. At the end of the day, I can only eat or share what's on my plate. And I let others decide how to manage theirs.

Be content. For every drama is surely accompanied by a blessing. So start counting those. Piggy Bank style.

And do remember, you are more than aight.
